drama_workshopThe course was a very interesting and enjoyable experience for all of us as we had a lot of fun – and because we learned a lot about ourselves and drama in general.

We spent most of our time doing various role plays. Many of us enjoyed the spontaneous improvisations the most.

Even though many had difficulties using the English language creatively without preparation, we eventually managed to accomplish amazing results. Let me describe one activity in detail: Two students were asked to have a spontaneous conversation about a random topic. The viewers were allowed to join in at any given point and thereby the play evolved. That way, a scene in a barber shop transformed into a bank robbery or even a car chase.

Overall, the class' response was very positive and many of us would love to spend another day like that together – and not just because that would mean fewer lessons that day.
